At the School of Spatial & Product Design, students explore how design shapes the everyday through interiors, objects, systems and experiences. Our programmes are grounded in studio practice, encouraging experimentation, creativity and hands-on learning.
Students will engage deeply with design processes and conceptual thinking methodologies, while building core disciplinary skills—from design history and contemporary theory to materials, construction and emerging technologies.
The curriculum emphasises an awareness of design’s evolving role in society. Students will examine how spatial and product design respond to shifting social, economic and environmental contexts as well as what defines truly thoughtful, impactful design.
Graduates go on to shape the built and designed world across a range of practice—from interior and architectural studios to product and furniture firms. Many have also launched their own successful practices, both locally and internationally.
